Our quality promise for vintage and designer leather: condition-led listings, authentication-minded checks, and clear notes so you can claim with confidence.
What “Vault Verified” means
It's not a buzzword. It means the piece has been inspected across construction, hardware, materials, and brand-specific authenticity signals - and we've documented what we found.
The checks (step-by-step)
1) Materials
We evaluate leather grain, weight, finish, and overall consistency with the brand's typical construction.
2) Construction
Stitching density, seam alignment, panel symmetry, lining quality, and stress points.
3) Hardware
Zippers, pulls, snaps, and engravings: feel, finish, placement, and wear patterns.
4) Labels + markings (high-level)
We check label placement, typography, tag materials, and any serial/production conventions where applicable.
5) Condition grading
We document patina, scuffs, creasing, edge wear, lining wear, and any known flaws with photos.
6) Final judgment
If anything feels off, we don't list it. If the condition is not accurately representable, we don't push it live.
What you receive
- Condition-first listing: grade, known flaws, and measurements.
- Care notes: how to store, maintain, and protect the piece.
- Verification notes: what we inspected and what stood out.
Counterfeit stance
Counterfeit goods undermine trust - and we don't play that game. Vault Verified pieces are screened for authenticity signals. If there's doubt, we step back.
Vintage is nuanced: some details vary by year, factory, or wear. That's why we stay conservative in what we claim and prioritize clear documentation over hype.
